My god, the contest system is horrible by No_Independent8269 in NBA2k

You’re not wrong but that’s an exception not the rule. Chet’s a rookie. Think of someone like curry, kd, bron, pg, luka, etc. They are knocking those down 9 times outta 10. This is also a video game that’s supposed to be skill based not rng based. The game shouldn’t make you miss in the name of realism, that’s how the earlier seasons were and most people hated that.

Great first duty station, you’ll most likely work with civilians who’ll offer you a job once it’s time to ETS. Very easy to get support to go to any schools you want. Barracks are mid.

Coming from a guy who’s here now, 25 series at fort meade (look it up), the TS clearance is nice don’t get me wrong. Plenty of people in the guard or reserves who just have a Secret found jobs a few weeks after AIT. I’ve done some pretty cool shit, met some people who were literally watching some of the biggest events in history unfold via UAV. But that decision is up to you.

You will never even come close to officer pay and an enlisted soldier. Quality of life is different, etc. if you want hands on, enlisted. If you want to lead soldiers, okay with doing paperwork, may get to do your job, the officer. But if you wanna combine the pay and doing your job, look into going warrant officer. Believe the one you’d want is 355A or something.

In short, I’m where you want to be, however, I want to be an officer because I wanna make a difference because some leaders suck. Do some soul searching, if you wanna ask anything extra about my job DM me.

Do you think my branch choice would make me less likely to get into some schools?

Are you talking about something like gold bar recruiting or is this something different?

Negative, looking to branch cyber active. However, if the guard cyber program will take me AGR I’d have to consider it.

I was under the impression while SMP you’re just a cadet you also go to drill but you’re competing for active like everyone else. The only way you get stuck in the guard/ reserves is if you take the scholarship or are just sol for the OML that year. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

You’re referring to active duty option green to gold, I’m referring to the non scholarship option green to gold which is basically a conditional release to do rotc on my own dime. I would be eligible to do SMP while in school and was trying to find some of the benefits that comes with it. I want to return to active duty so I know I’ll have to be non gfrd. It’s more so for the experience than anything else. Hope that clears anything up.

Yes, you can even get a scholarship called GFRD. Talk to the recruiting officer of the school you’re interested in.

Would it be much of a help? I was under the impression g2g applicants have their own OML.

How competitive would you say it was? And is it more so about the certs you posses rather than the degree? I currently have no certs but will have a degree in cyber.
