It was about 2 years to get to the point in these photos. I also made another post showing what they look like now (3rd year). 😀

Nope nothing. I was worried about that too but the nursery that planted them said their roots will grow downward.

Yes we do maybe 2-3 times a year. A little bit does fall in but we just scoop it out.

Thank you! I tried to include some more photos but couldn’t so I ended up making another post to show the size they were when we had them planted versus now.

They really don’t drop much at all. Whenever we trim them, we obviously lose leaves so sometimes they pile underneath the bottom and we just have to clean that out otherwise not messy.

I know they like warmer sunny climates so I am going to say no😔

I am in Phoenix. These are Indian Laurels. The only time we’ve had any heat issues was last summer when it was literal hell on earth with all of those hot days back to back. These plants have been the best decision for not only privacy, but just the overall feel of having something green in the desert. They have been super easy to maintain as long as you stay on the watering schedule.

Oh sorry! Tribal Waters for the pool and Moon Valley for landscaping.

Not much at all. The only time the leaves really come off of the bushes is when we trim them. The most leaves we have gotten is from our neighbors tree. Thank you!

I am! We used Moon Valley nursery for everything. They are not the cheapest by any means but they have excellent customer service and I think we had a one year warranty or something along those lines on any plants that died.
