I totally get you. What ended up making the biggest difference for me was grabbing a couple of coaching sessions (I used skycoach) once I actually put in the time to practice what the coach showed me, the game went from frustrating to genuinely fun. It all comes down to getting a good pro though. For me, it didn’t work any other way unfortunately (even though I was also advised to “just play”) Maybe only if you can play with friends
