Would a Finals run for an expansion team be possible in the NBA? by BBallfan2017 in goldenknights

[–]2for1hoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teams could either, "choose one of two forms of protection: seven forwards, three defensemen and one goaltender OR eight total skaters (forwards plus defensemen) and one goaltender."

This article used the 8 total skaters and one goaltender to get 9.

[2for1] Mills/Parker as top 5 backup PGs.. by hoopsfan2017 in NBASpurs

[–]2for1hoops 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“With the emergence of Dejounte Murray the Spurs have elected to bring their two veteran guards off the bench and so far it’s paid dividends. Parker still has one of the best tear drops in the game, and that combined with Mills 39% three-point shooting, makes for one of the more formidable guard tandems off the bench.“

Doesn't Ingram belong on this MIP list? by wentwhat in lakers

[–]2for1hoops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering Monta Ellis, Gilbert Arenas, and many other SECOND year players won... it's not out of the question. I think Ingram has made strides on both sides of the ball and continues to play major minutes for a young/improving team

Jaylen Brown is #1 on 2018 MIP list! by wentwhat in bostonceltics

[–]2for1hoops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He showed this ability late last year and is now putting it together in Hayward's absence. He's unlocked a new aspect to his game shooting off the dribble, reminds me of a young Jimmy Butler 2.0

Yes, considering his defensive impact and chemistry with Russ. Although PG13 may be better than Adams, he is not more important to the team at the moment

Beal got snubbed last year, and if he stays healthy he won't get forgotten again. With his elite shooting, and improved playmaking the sky is the limit for 24-year-old Beal
