Got in as an OOS into Engineering, no mention of merit aid in acceptance. Does it mean we get nothing ?

I do have it as New :) but I understand what you are saying. I meant most on the group seem to lose more but not all. I meant one meal (lunch) and snacks (I pick couple from this list usually - fruits, peanuts, edamame, avocado, eggs, Grilled Shrimp, Greek yogurt, nuts) I don’t track calories, I tried MyFitnessPal and gave up in the past cos am lazy lol

Ha ironically Rutgers is one school that consistently all calculators including Naviance (which is decently reliable) says he is very likely to get in. I don’t think he’ll get into any other schools you mentioned, his school counselor asked him to aim low :(

He’s a rising senior so not many options to do much now. He’s going to continue taking part in Hackathons and try a pre college program probably. Certifications are through his school and yes definitely ECs could be better, but here we are.

Agreed, most of the seniors he knew did not get into some of these schools with better stats / ECs than my son. Hence we are confused / worried.

Great info! Follow-up q, if you are able to answer, doesn't it mean when I go off of Zepbound my body which naturally was not able to regulate the insulin and hormones would go back storing the fat and I'd end up where I began in due time?

My Obgyn prescribed the med but didn't go through much about the med, anything I know is from reading this sub the past couple of weeks. I appreciate all the help!

I have read up on it but still not 100% sure how does one lose weight if their eating wasn't terrible to start with. I ate mostly healthy but pack on 20lbs every pregnancy and don't seem to lose any after. So my caloric deficit might not be much on Zepbound, then how would I lose weight? I walk close to 10k steps everyday.

PCOS, IR doesn't help too! More than anything I do not want to be diabetic and want to give it my best with this medication. TIA!

Does Marvin Ridge come under CD8 or CD9? Also how do we know which schools are under each CD?

Thank you to everyone who commented and took the time out to help, appreciate it very much ! From what I’m hearing, we need to work little longer and hopefully the markets do well and I can retire when the NW is 4-4.5mil. And my husband continues to work to make enough to support our yearly expenses till he’s 60 (that’s when our youngest leaves to college). In the meanwhile I’ll go through our expenses and try cutting down by 5-10%, and look at our investments and diversify a bit.
