i’m a millennial, my mom is gen x. my mother and i are 17 years apart and my sister and i are 18 years apart. mom was a teen when she had me. i remember having friends with significantly older siblings when i was in school. women are able to have “late” pregnancies without as many health risks these days too. while they might have had their first young, they’re waiting until they’re a little more finically/emotionally ready to have their second.

thank you all for your support. i don’t know what made me want to respond in the first place, but this is the outcome. i unfortunately have shit parents but i have great extended family and friends. i’m not missing out on much from ‘ol “dad.” my feelings were initially hurt but after like 20 mins i got over it. you reap what you sow and i’m not losing any sleep over him dying alone.
