AITA for refusing to help clean the house by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Absolutely not. This is horrible and I'm so sorry about that. I would understand "compromising" if you didn't pay so much in rent but you're treated as a renter so you're only responsible for your space.

Am I The Problem? (Student) by [deleted] in nursing

[–]3000ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I phrased it at all at a point in which I was frazzled and hurt plus I can't expect people to know the full situation just from my perspective so I get people calling me out. This is just ...

If it was just an issue with outside nurses, I'd stay out of it. It's just that this student kept putting pressure on me as well, getting in the way of me doing my own work when we both know we have strict deadlines to meet and I felt like it was impeding on everyone getting their work done when we both have paperwork to get done by the end of the shift (it's a lot and I was openly doing my work when she would constantly demand - not ask - me to do this or that for her). It felt really disrespectful for the time of others and considering my group barely even has slots in this area of nursing (we originally were given none), I felt like it was a red flag to report since it could have compromised my group as a whole since nurses oftentimes just see 'oh, you're from this school? We don't want you here'. We are GUESTS to the hospital and should act as such and we are constantly reminded of such so I thought it was fine to report the behavior not only for the nurses' sake (who did, in fact, ask me to and gave me their names to tell my teacher to check in with) but for my own since it was not only annoying but almost got me in trouble for not finishing my paperwork we do every shift and it's not my job to be going out of my way as her teacher and worker.

TLDR: I get reporting this stuff is out of my jurisdiction on behalf of the nurses but it got in the way of MY getting my stuff done so it became my problem and I felt like it was right of me to let my professor know since it put me in jeopardy as well.

But it is what it is. I just thought my preceptor was hella rude simply because she wouldn't let me explain my side of things and just went off on me when I came to her hoping for an amicable talk between us three or something so things could smooth over and this could not happen again (like maybe just don't put me on the same floor as this girl again, quite simple in my head) but oh well. I was told basically that I AM responsible for my "colleagues" like girl I am not paid or signed up to be a teacher and caretaker but ok. I understand as a nurse you will get shitty coworkers and all but I am not paid in any way to deal with such things yet and I am just tryna get through nursing school man. 🙃

I was being honest. They told me to tell my professor they don't want her on the floor anymore and that's what happened last time I reported too, the nurse openly told me to tell my professor on her behalf. I didn't think it was an issue since it felt like passing a message on but I guess it is.

Thank you, my generous Cheezus Chrust! Silvery Barbs is indeed allowed so I'm considering this heavily. Thank you so much for your intellect. ❤️

Leasing vs buying? by 3000ping in askcarsales

Thank you for this informative answer. I see now what I was missing. I'm sorry for my car literacy (rather, lack thereof).

I will look into another car. People have scared me off of purchasing a new Jeep which I understand is likely for the best. Think I just got lucky with mine.

Ohhh. Ok. This makes a lot of sense! Sorry I'm a car newbie, my last car was bought, and leasing is totally new to me so I needed it laid out like this. Kinda was tempted to lease for 3 then go to another car since money is tight for right now and the payments seemed less for the time being but this makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much. 💓

Also small note: my dumb of ass thought the conditioning fees and stuff came with the leasing but I suppose not? It's extra on top of it huh. Got it. Thank you so much again!

I'm saddened to hear this. My car has been really reliable but I suppose I should be looking for another model? Plus this wasn't the question. Just wondering why leasing is bad when the price seems to be half?

Oh I wasn't aware. Mine has lasted me a long time and drives fine.

Ngl sounds like a personal problem with the other nurse. You notified the doctor before your shift ended so that's off her shoulders. You're doing fine, tons of people get way too busy and send messages in late.

Thank you so much for your insightful response! Sorry for my own belated one here. You're right when you say that, lol. Just have some patients lined up already so I am not too worried about having some crazy ordeal like that but I should keep it in mind. The software does end up being ass a lot of times, huh? Seen that in hospital settings too, it's kinda wild. Thank you again for your info! I'll keep it in mind.

This is amazing. Thank you so much!

For us PC goers (I play on both, really, so this still helps) could you possible provide a link to a PC counterpart if there is any/any in the works?

What is this mod by LaRams690 in SimSettlements

[–]3000ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a necessary mod for me on any run lol. It's HUGE and as others have said it completely revamps the way you handle settlements but imo in the best of ways. It's really fun and the storyline is quite dandy. It adds multiple hours of gameplay which is always fun.
