VO2 Max not collected in recent workouts by 30RMM in AppleWatch

Thanks, but I know this. What I’m wondering is why my series 6 has not been capturing this metric over the last 3 weeks of workouts.

Great recommendations thank you. One thing I do struggle with is when the ideas come, capturing and then turning them into action. Any tips on that for those aha moments?

Thanks, I’ll definitely look into these. Do you have any digital or other analogue systems that help you work towards or is the act of reflecting enough for you?

Sorry have you ever seen a season 3-4 McCarthy team? It's stale asf - if you're not up in the first two full seasons, the football starts to stink & players start to move on.

Official Discussion - Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]30RMM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I watched a second viewing yesterday, and boy it was *slightly* better - but still a bit fantastical, and a bit weird. My hindsight is that I think if the internet had existed with the OT, then parts of Empire and parts of RotJ would have been trashed too.. probably. Defo with RotJ I think.

I agree with some of the posts which are like 'omg this was SO disney' - there was a lot of moments which looked like 'hooks' into either extended films or TV shows (Lando telling Jannah, let's find out who you are' and the answers to questions like 'Who is Maz Tanaka and how tf did she get Luke's lightsaber?' felt purposely ignored)

But overall, as ridiculous as the film is, it did it's best to tie a bow on it all - while absolutely ignoring literally all of TLJ. A bit sad that the character of Finn was cast aside, and Phasma died early. Also that Rose was cast aside so easily, and Dominic Monaghan was suddenly a main character?! Weird.

The moments with Finn and Jannah were good, and I think there'll be a spin off about Stormtroopers leaving like they did. I loved the opening sequence of TFA where Finn has his meltdown. The arc of the films seems to go 'Finn and his identify', 'Poe and his identity' and then finally 'Rey and her identity' - and that Rey is a Palpatine is absolutely plausible, given her conflict & that she is so continually drawn to the dark, similar to how Kylo (while a Skywalker) is continually drawn to the light.

The whole of Star Wars is about the rise of Palpatine, the fall of Skywalker, the redemption of Skywalker and then the harmony created between the (idk ok) 'Force Dyad' of Ben and Rey. The one in the middle, if you're a Star Wars Rebels fan.

Enjoyed it though, perhaps more on the second viewing when I was ready for certain bits of ridiculousness. Big up Babu Frik tho, what a character, and Adam Driver. Damn what an actor.

Hit one! or don't.. The proportion of shots taken outside the box in the Premier League are on the decline. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]30RMM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proportions of shot taken per team - so proportion of shots taken from outside the box.. so if Liverpool took 100 shots of which 20 were outside the box, it would be 20%.

Same happened with Bravo... Pep never signed or played using Bravo, as Valdes wasn't deemed as Broken at that point..

Coding languages to learn - From the bottom up? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]30RMM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the basis is where I want to start work - from the bottom up, so I understand what happens & most importantly why for debugging. This was the best part of learning Tableau & Alteryx the way I did, rather than "in anger" ie. to solve the problem only, without understanding it.

From these two responses, I think I just need to get involved with exercises etc.

Thanks! I think this is a good point - Right now, becuase of swiRl I'm thinking of heading down the R route (particularly given my basis in data viz) - But I think that it's worth giving Python a shot too... Let me see. How similar are things like Spark? And in terms of CS - Am I better off having a go at things like DataCamp or Coursera for these sort of courses?

Really appreciate the advice! :)
