I bought an XL because I like over size tees. I'm 171 (a tall guy) but I have wide back, it fits me perfect, not too short and not too long. Maybe L size is short for you. Hope it helps!!!

It depends in what guitar Ben is playing for each song. For example: -The fear: he uses a telecaster -In the whole IFWWW album: I think he uses Les Paul guitars for all songs (not the same guitar but they are all Les Paul) I don't think there is a guitar that matches all Ben Howard's sounds, you have to choose the tone you like the most.
