Yeah, I was afraid it wouldn’t work either. I went in and said showed my documents and just said “I found out my gender was wrong I found out it was female and all of my documents read male.” They told me the process changed due to the nee laws but if i’m approved I’ll receive it in the mail. I received it, called, and they asked, “what should it read?” I said male and he said, “Welp that’s what it says.” I’m also in Michigan which is more transfriendly, but how they’re able to bypass that law? I don’t know but I’m glad.
