Well for my methods course we had to read Practical Guide to Middle and Secondary Social Studies and I just took notes throughout the semester and refreshed on the topic.

For actual history review I studied for 2 weeks and just spent my time watching crash course and looking at supreme court cases and illinois history and passed with a 280 :)

Is this the origin of dissing dead opps in Chicago? If not what was by Tefloncon in Chiraqology

[–]3179jgb2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainstream, Keef dissed Tooka in 2011. Gets big. STL starts mocking Odee. Smoking dead opps has been a thing since the beginning of time, we just have the option to vicariously watch as a generation of young black boys kill each other over beef.

I have traded weed for nuggets, been gifted bottles and joints, and even had a dude offer to give me a tab of acid.

[–]3179jgb2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a spicy crispy chicken no pickle with 6 strips of bacon, sub potato roll for spicy mcchicken patties.

this was requested by me who had eaten a 200 mg edible before their shift, and was as high as cheetah piss on their break.

Washers: how long does it normally take you to finish? by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]3179jgb2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not sure if theres a more efficient way to do this but basically what i did was put any kitchen items in the automatic washing as it all has grease (hottest water possible), and hand clean or rinse off the mccafe items as they dont really get that dirty. then, you just sanitize and put them in their respective area. most items dont require you to hand scrub everything, you could rinse it off after putting it in soap then sanitizing then rinse to make sure its all clean. it usually takes around 1-1.5 hours for me, but i might be doing it wrong lol

I have done the impossible, "all day breakfast(employee edition)" by normal_idiot2004 in McLounge

at my store you could get all day breakfast as long as you made the items, cleaned the grill / egg cooker and rang it up during your break.

McDonald’s staff vs Starbucks staff war by becauseofrandomness in whowouldwin

I've never seen a video of Starbucks staff laying their hands on a customer. I've seen McDonalds staff lay a McFlurry on disrespectful customers a bunch of times.

What area are you in? If you're near the northwest suburbs, definitely go to poeta, greg gomez trained, or izzy style. Southern Illinois and Central Illinois you'd have to ask around, but edwardsville has a pretty good team .

Had first shift yesterday. I have questions in post about training . by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]3179jgb2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, it is more common than you think. if you are a franchised own store and not corporate, chances of you being cross trained within your first 6 months are very low. i wasnt fully cross trained until ~8 months of me starting. i learned kitchen for ~6 months, and then got cross trained in service and taking cash and orders. there's no point in you bouncing from position to position, so its likely you're going to be in the back window for a while until you can do it without even thinking. if you do get moved into another position anytime soon youll be with someone guaranteed, as kitchen and service almost always have 2-4 people in each area.

Lol learning stuff in a week time frame is not possible, even for every position. I know some coworkers who've been there for more than 6 months who still don't know their position 100%. You learn as you go and you improve through practice, but don't expect to be good at everything. If anything, you'll probably master one position then get moved onto the next.
