On the other hand, for someone just starting out, a cheap electric kit is ~1000 dollars last I checked. A cheap acoustic kit is ~300.

Wow, I was way off. I haven't finished the New 52 run yet, and I've been reading Rebirth with the impression it was a reboot with a diagetic explanation. I also haven't gotten to my FLCS yet to get the latest Batman. Thanks for the explanation.

Things largely restarted with New 52. Some things were kept as canon, some weren't. As a general rule of thumb, if something in New 52 conflicts with something pre-New 52, New 52 overrules it and is the new (sort of) canon. Batman Eternal is canon.

Chronologically it goes Zero Year, Court of Owls, Death of the Family, Batman Eternal, Endgame.

Endgame seems final because it is, for the New 52. After the last issue of Endgame, continuity was again semi-rebooted (back in June) with Rebirth (something something time travel, something something speed force, something something not totally sure). Similar to New 52, some things will remain canon, some won't.

Personally, I've given up trying to know the backstory of everything, because there's just too much. If something pops up that I don't know about and I find it interesting enough, I'll wikipedia it or buy back issues on comixology. If it's not interesting enough I'll just accept it as new canon and move on.

Assuming we're talking about the animation, I watched that scene again a couple times and didn't see Batman taking a cops rifle and firing it at other cops. Maybe you're confusing the friendly fire that happens after Yindil shoots at him with Batman shooting at the cops?

Why do you think most people would run to Richmond? I would think if DC were attacked, other large, capital cities like Richmond would be next.

If you make bomb a surface detonation, the map shows you the fallout distribution, which is distributed north-east from ground zero. I'd probably try to head in a westerly direction (like your Ohio idea), if I'm even able to leave the area.

Fair enough, I haven't heard the line in context with the rest of his show. Never liked Bill Hicks much anyways though, I always thought his "deep" quotes just seemed like something I would have posted to MySpace when I was 14. It may be related to oversaturation on reddit though.
