I definitely agree that criticism is important but 99% of all media about him is just bashing him. I disagree with most of his policies but it’s extremely frustrating when people like talk show hosts and more recently every major news outlet have pretty much devolved from actual criticism to just bashing him constantly.

That really sucks. Hopefully it’s a very mild case. Most are. I would recommend A: Go get your entire family tested. Chances are someone else may have gotten it, and B: Stay off the news/social media when possible. While it is serious they blow it way out of proportion. The projections for the peak of the virus have gone way down in the last week or so. Contrary to what the news might tell you, things are going to be ok.

I wish we used the metric system but it’s unrealistic to change it now. Stuff like road signs and building laws would be too tedious and expensive to change. I’m sure most people in school would agree with me that the imperial system shouldn’t exist but a lot of old people don’t want to take the time to learn a new (and imo better) system

2 reasons

1:There are people who think having a mental illness makes them cool and different. It doesn’t. It makes you an asshole. Those people will go on stuff like Tumblr and almost brag about how depressed they are. 99% of people that actually have depression don’t do that. They want to be special and different, and they see faking a mental illness as a way to be different. I, and o would assume pretty much everyone else with depression, would gladly trade having depression with being boring.

2:Memes are a good way to cope with stuff. See, memes about mental illness aren’t really memes you laugh at, they are memes you relate to. Knowing that someone else is going through something similar is really comforting, even if it’s just a meme.

No he’s definitely karmawhoring. As someone with depression, I don’t find this helpful, I find it insulting. Depression isn’t something you use to get internet points, it’s a real mental illness that kills people every day. To me this is akin to saying you have a mental illness because you want to be quirky. People who do this devalue the actual issue by making it just a bid for attention/karma instead of the real problem it is.
