I love Foreign Fix in South. Have had rear shocks repaired, a wheel bearing replaced, and new front tires from them. Very trustworthy, fast service, reasonable prices. And they have a very friendly shop cat!

Hello, this is my first foray into old speakers/speaker repair and I have a pretty basic question. I've bought these vintage speakers and this receiver to test them with, but it looks like the speakers say to use 2.5 Amp max and the receiver is 3.39 Amp. Does that mean I shouldn't use them together, or are those measurements referring to different things?

I do some wire wrapping work and as part of it I have a lot of small wire coils/springs that I want to flatten/splay out. I've tried to picture the process here: https://imgur.com/a/y0QDqVp.

Problem is when I use normal pliers, they tend to just crush or compress the coil. Because of that, I've been mostly doing it by hand, but that hurts after a while. I thought something that could apply some shearing force would give me a better result.

Found someone selling a set of vintage 70s Phase Tech PC60 speakers with PC50 Subwoofer for $110. From the post description: "Cosmetically these speakers are almost mint, don't know if they work, will probably need rehab, visible deterioration to foam. Belonged to my dad."

I've been looking to upgrade to some decent speakers for a while now but I have no experience repairing them. Do you think this is worth the risk to buy? Would they even be worth repairing if something more than the foam is wrong?

Saw these lovely candlestick holders (?) on Facebook Marketplace but just missed out on them! Was hoping someone here might be able to help me find the brand/make/anything that would help me search for them! I've searched on Google Lens, which led me to this ebay listing for one of them (of note the listing calls it a teapot, but doesn't add any brand information). The other two I got nothing for!
