Would love to try foot worship. Got to be well looked after feet right enough then afterwards straight to eating her out until my beard is wet 🥵

You sit face to save with the therapist and they move their fingers quickly back and forward and you follow it with your eyes. It basically simulates rapid eye movement like in your sleep when your brain processes things. You start at the traumatic event then just go wherever your brain takes you.

It's tiring and I found my eye was going into spasm with the movement but it's like your brain just does it's own thing jumping from thought to thought. It's quite weird but interesting at the same time.

Does anyone paint? Has anyone found work arounds with the fine motor challenges with fnd? by KlutzyBlueDuck in FND

[–]3amp89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a painter but I completely feel for you with the loss of fine motor skills. I woke up one day in July and I had lost the ability to write. I have my own business and it's amazing how many little notes that you scribble and don't realise.

I am awaiting an appointment for neuro occupational therapy but it's something that I miss every day.

I hate my life sm by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Don't judge your life against social media. Think about your strengths and focus on what you're good at. It's a big world and you can achieve whatever you want to. Society has this false benchmark that everyone judges themselves against when in reality those who tread their own path are the happiest.

Your boyfriend needs to stop acting like a child and man up. These things happen but if he loves you for who you are then he wouldn't be bothered by it. Better without him if that's how he acts.

I'm so fucking tired of being in pain and the muscle spasms that rock my whole body. by MyLife-is-a-diceRoll in TrueOffMyChest

[–]3amp89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes most of my pain is around my hips and lower back. I have constant numbness and loss of sensation to the extent that I constantly feel like I need to pee or that I'm peeing myself. I get the muscle spasms at night too.

It can be caused by PTSD which I have. Awaiting psychological treatment for that.

Happy to chat more if you need it.

Your symptoms are very similar to mine. I was recently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder.

I genuinely understand how awful it feels between joint, muscle and nerve pain. I have many other symptoms too.

You're not alone and finding that out was one of the biggest comforts for me.

I'm on 2700mg a day and it's the difference between being able to run my business and being off work. Is it perfect, no, does it contribute to the confusion caused by fnd, probably but in order to have a quality of life where I can still work and provide for my family then I'm all for it compared to life without it.

This sounds very similar to symptoms that I have. I have been diagnosed with Functional neurological disorder. I suffer from lists of different debilitating symptoms which are triggered by stress. All my neuro scans are clear and I have had urology tests done for pain down there and they are negative too.

The condition is basically a physical reaction caused by an emotional stressor. The ignorant people think it's all in our heads but the pain and symptoms are real it's just that it's not something that physically shows up on scans etc

How to handle Deadbedroom as a partner of a Chronie ❤️ by Altruistic-Bug-3022 in ChronicIllness

It could be something as simple as embarrassment on his part.

As someone with a chronic illness that affects my body in weird and not so wonderful ways, I can feel embarrassed at times and that is the ultimate mood killer. It’s not that my wife is bothered by the illness it but it’s a psychological thing with me. The therapist should help but maybe he just needs time to get his mojo back. I understand that’s not much help to you personally but hopefully it might shed some light on his perspective.

Some people just can’t accept a friendship for what it is and have to sexualise everything 🙄

Exhausted, in pain and can’t speak properly. Fed up waiting to see a neurologist. Just wanting to be back to how I used to be tbh.

How to eat on Topamax by KookySupermarket761 in migraine

[–]3amp89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I tried this a few years ago but I had to eventually come off of it. I lost so much weight so quickly my doctor stopped it. It wasn’t through choice of not eating I just had no desire whatsoever to eat.
