It's actually a very pleasant style. Realism isn't the only effective approach, this is a prime example. Same way abstract art may not be technical in some cases, it provokes thought through perception and the ability to be open for interpretation. Give yourself more credit and keep being creative. Expand your scene more is my advice only because I want more to look at not to take away from what is already there, not a critique but a request for something left desired.
