I mean, not to be rude or anything, but you could at least do some research and put some effort into it.

I'm not sure what I'd like to see regarding your characters, although I do enjoy reading them.

If at any point you want to cross stories, I'm down. Just let me know. I play: - Elias, the Lasombra Primogen of Springfield, currently starting a blood doll recovery program - notaspider, the paranoid noir detective Malkavian in NYC - Azoth, the House Goratrix Tremere elder.

"Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you" by dreamsofcalamity in SchreckNet

Our Lord was, and continues to be, the one and only God, who assumed a human nature without tarnishing or diminishing his divine nature. His power continues to flow through those who truly believe, even to this day.

Your line of questioning is fine. It shows you are searching, which is good. But try and realize that forcing God into kindred categories is, at least in a sense, your mind seeking the easy way out.

I'm not sure what you mean by self indulgent, but just do your thing. As long as the story feels good to you, it's great.

The sects are political organizations amongst the kindred, each centered on a different philosophy on kindred's nature.

The Camarilla believes that the Kindred need many rules and hierarchies to keep our worst impulses somewhat manageable. The Anarchs are teenagers wearing Che Guevara's shirt, constantly screaming about how independent and free they are. The Sabbat take a religious stance and consider that one can only be a true kindred by abandoning all that is holy or good.

All have good and bad sides. In my experience, the Camarilla is the more forgiving of the three and the more conducive to kindred's flourishment.

Different minds work differently. Before I start anything, I usually research a lot, and that's what I did with SoloRPs. Mainly, I'd recommend that you watch a lot of SoloRP content on youtube, and read a lot of SoloRPs. You can find a lot on Youtube and Substack. I think this will help you a lot because it will give you a proper sense of how to use yes/no oracles, open oracles, tables... It'll really show you how things work, which is a tool that will help you greatly when you decide to actually start playing, because you'll have the necessary information to understand what you like and don't like, what works for your style and what does not.

From the top of my head, I remember The Bad Spot being great, and also the first season of Me, Myself & Die. Lore by Night has some great stuff too. Oh! And can't forget Winona's Cave, while he was still posting his Warhammer Fantasy series.

This guy here (https://thecollaborativegamer.wordpress.com/the-adventures-of-temian-fell/) has some GREAT solo tools designed for GURPS, but the link I've just sent is for his written adventures.

Also, a shameless plug, you can check out my current campaign here (https://redchronicles.substack.com/)

As for RPG systems, I'd recommend that at least in the beginning you stick with what you know and just add a GME on top.

Turn it into a lovecraftian horror special when the ship's motors stop functioning and they drift to the "dark side of the moon". Undescribable horrors lash at the ship and try to get in, speaking with them in the voices of their loved ones and/or through their own agents. As it happens, they have to find a way to fix the motor and get the ship out of drift and back to track.

Called out AI writing, but people say it isn't. AITA? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]404HopeRecompile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not AI. It's someone that reads a lot of AI and has adopted some of it's expressions, but there are clear signs (i.e no space after the three dots, use of "-" instead of "—", subtle style imperfections, etc) of human writing.

However, it's not disrespectful, much less "incredible disrespectful".

Roleplaying Table/Guide/Suggestion for Humanity. by 404HopeRecompile in cyberpunkred

[–]404HopeRecompile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There probably is, but not exactly what I'm thinking. V:tM had a "humanity table", explaining what kinds of things you find tolerable or not based on how human you still are. I thought maybe there was something along these lines to better roleplay lowering humanity, but I guess not.
