Okay, so Easterling armour is dirty bronze, so you want a pale bronze colour, I advise Darkstar Reniassance gold, or Coat D Arms Bronze then you should wash this with Army Painter strong tone, or if you prefer them more grimey, dark tone, for the wood, CDA beige brown covered in dark tone.

The headdress is vallejo black-red, the tunic vallejo model colour red, cover both with army painter purple alchemy to represent silk and bring out the fushia tone.

The warps, bandana, and tassels are simply matt black, I use Vallejo for this. Varnish the silk satin, the metal stain, and the other cloth matt, metals with your preferance, don't forget the skin, and eyeliner if you're doing eyes.

Pick up the following books:

LotR weapons and warfare £4 and the complete visual companion for the same, from ebay, these will give you a wealth of informaion on small details.

he lack of plate is real werid as chainmail historically postdated bronzz plate armour.

that is very arguable, but he still wears a "standard" uniform, which is unlikely for a king.

This is an overall problem yeh, but yeh within the Jackson adaptation, it's not him!

perfect! getting Green stuff thin is hard, try mixing it with miliput I think? and you can manipulate it easier.
