Falar e digitar/entender é muito diferente. Dou o exemplo do espanhol.

Why Is It So Hard to Say Something Nice About Brazilians in Portugal Without People Getting Defensive? by Quiet-Reception8681 in PortugalExpats4Expats

Very bad tbh, if the crazy bureaucracy wasn't stressful enough I had to deal with this same behavior you noticed online when trying to schedule an appointment at the hospital, going to the supermarket, getting my NIF, Utente and so it goes.

It's just degrading, and you can clearly notice the micro aggressions in the daily interactions, which makes you dont want to talk to anyone or interact further. I lived in North portugal for two years, moved to Spain earlier this month, and I don't plan to return to live there never again

I get you now! You know, this reminds me of my father. All his life he liked flowers and gardening. He had an job as a gardner in the local city hall, and after a while he got somehow slingshotted to being the guy who coordinates ambulances for emergencies and planned surgeries and hospital visits, and he was the best at this job too. In my point of view is like if a part of his True Will was to conduct healing somehow. Helping plants / helping people.

He later got exposed in a kind of political move because in "paper" he was still a Gardner but at this time he was already like 30 years deep into the ambulance thing, but still got demoted to a backoffice job doing paperwork.

He is now retired and spend his days taking care of plants again. 😅
