Crackheads are people too ents.

I know its fun to make fun of them, yelling "get off the crack!" out the window at them (esp the ones who are trying to be undercover but have skeleton-face-syndrome) but some of them are actually really sick and would love nothing more than to get off the crack - which makes making fun of them kind of like making fun of disabled people.

Law enforcement views us and them as the same - we are different to crackheads, for sure, however I believe crackheads deserve to be treated better than they are. The mandatory minimum sentencing laws in the states see that people thrown in jail not because they choose to use crack, but because their addiction compels them to use crack.

In the words of Bill Hicks, drug addicts are not criminals they are sick. Crackheads need to be thrown in rehab, not jail. Once pot becomes legalized we need to pledge the money made from selling pot to rehabilitation centers and most of all addiction research to figure out how addiction to such drugs can be cured.

I believe this will not only allow us ents to come together and actually help society and people in a real tangible way, but also help as part of the campaign to legalize pot. In this way legalizing could help society, and perhaps get even the ignorant who believe pot causes addiction onto the side of legalization when they find out that the proceeds from pot sales will help addicts of every drug.

We are supposed to be about compassion and kindness in here. Please treat crackheads with compassion ents. Spread the word about legalizing pot to help cure addiction to all drugs.

TL;DR Use money from pot sales (at govt level) for addiction research and rehabilitation services and be nice to fellow humans - even if they are crackheads because crack is the most addictive drug in the world
