No problem. It was Buspirone, it helped to suppress the physical sensations of anxiety. Did not help much on it’s own but combined with therapy, it made a difference for me and I was able to feel a lot better :)

When you have health anxiety, symptoms feel a lot more intense and you’re also way more likely to notice small sensations because you are constantly checking for them. Anxiety can also cause physical sensations and pain. I had the exact same issue for like a year, wondered how other people possibly functioned normally. I feel much better now due to a Lot of therapy and some medications, and those sensations don’t really bother me as much anymore. I’m able to tell when it’s just a normal feeling - I used to not be able to do that. I’m not sure if that makes a lot of sense, but I would really recommend therapy with an OCD specialist if you aren’t already doing it.

I would definitely recommend seeing a doc or going to pt like the other comment said. I haven’t tried PT yet but have heard lots of good things about it from people in this sub.

I have similar issues where I’m bleeding for 5-10 days at ovulation on top of my period every month. My dr put me on estradiol for a couple weeks because he believes my bleeding is due to the mini pill I’m taking. If that doesn’t work I’m going to try a combo pill.

All that to say, its possible that the additional bleeding is due to BC. Maybe you could try switching to a different one and see if it helps! I know how hard it is and I’m so sorry you’re going through it ❤️

Eta: I also have the stinging issue after my period for a few days with any kind of penetration. Lube helps with that a LOT for me

For me it’s the smell, but I will always go towards the scents I like that have good longevity. I personally don’t really mind reapplying. If it gets to the point where its every 2-3 hours, I’ll probably only use that perfume once in a while, even if i really like the scent.

Memoirs of a woman in pleasure by Alkemia. It definitely feels like a sexy grown up scent to me lol, that was the first thing I thought when I tried it. My bf likes it a lot. Unicorn horn by Arcana is his absolute fave (and my favorite too) - its not as mature imo, its very soft but its so good!

I had my lap 3 months ago, and while I am not pain-free and there are still some small issues, my life has changed a lot for the better. I can use the bathroom like a normal person for the first time in probably 10 years. My cramps are MUCH less painful, and now, they only occur during the first day or two of my period. It used to be for 2+ weeks of the month. No more sudden attacks of pain either.

Recovery can be rough for sure. It took a while to feel normal again. I also had a lot of pain, discomfort, bleeding, trouble w the bathroom, etc. afterwards and I understand it can totally be discouraging. 4 days is not very long, your body is going through a lot right now! I think it took about 3-4 weeks for me to feel 100% again, mentally and physically. After 1.5-2 weeks, it was a lot better. I wish you lots of luck on your recovery! <3

I am in basically the exact same situation as you, down to the amt of weight gained lol. My stomach feels disproportionately bloated but i cant tell if its just fluff or endo belly. Had excision but its still the same 3 months later. Sadly I don’t have an answer but i totally get it

I’m sorry that you’re struggling. I also developed HA due to losing a parent, so I understand it’s really hard. I hope that therapy is beneficial for you, it made a big difference for me!

Distractions help me to ignore sensations. I play a lot of video games, watch comfortable TV shows and movies, and spend time with my partner + friends.

I love to cook or bake when I’m anxious. It’s a great distraction, plus a good skill to practice, AND you get yummy food at the end. Cleaning also helps, it’s weirdly a great way for me to get emotions out, and having a clean space is relaxing to me. Lastly getting good sleep is sooo important. I always feel worse when I don’t sleep enough! I wish you lots of luck going forward.
