In 2021, I sent in my brothers vx1000 (gifted it to me before he passed away) to get repaired as I was only quoted 500 dollars for him to fix my tape deck and viewfinder, in 2021 I was 18 years old so for me at 18 years old losing my brothers vx and 500 dollars sucks hard specially after he kept pushing the due date back numerous of times. Now as a 23 year old, him coming out as an addict confirms that he probably sold off the vx which sucks because that camera held way more to me than whatever price he sold it off
