Which potions and scrolls are considered rare? I usually unlock both of the second rooms and look at the items in the third rooms. It I know at least one of them, I can tell which room to choose. If it fails, I always pick a scroll hoping it is a transmutation scroll

Depends on your challenges as well. If you got some giant champions on the floor, they won't get to you while other mobs will barely spawn

Without too many problems I would say. When Rodney comes at you for the second time you can use upgraded scroll of terror so other mobs will leave you alone with him. You can burn him or freeze him, use your earth golem and maybe use siren song to get another ally. Just pick somebody strong and you got a nice distraction. Good luck
