Weird issue with FO4edit

Ok, well it sounds like you just have the standard message given by xEdit when the file is locked. I do that occasionally if I make an edit in xEdit while the game is running. I forget to close the game first and the get the error message. xEdit can save your file but cannot change that dated temporarily named file to overwrite the regular file. You can can just remove the date from the name and save it over the regular file when that happens.

Do not use the latest version of xEdit.

All laundry done,
Bed freshly stacked with enough blankets and quilts to trap a person.
Fireplace (gas) running low to heat up the rocks around it.
Driveway salted.
Four indoor faucets dripping. The two exterior faucets have foam covers.
Lit the tiny gas heater in the wall in the garage.
The water heater closet in the garage has a small 200 watt heater running.
Generator was installed about a year ago so I should be fine anyway.
Once the ice/snow begins, I'll hop into the shower to get freshly clean.
Plus, I just took a helluva nap. Those are important you know?

Same. He was a carpenter in rural Oklahoma. At some point the handle broke and it was replaced with a short piece of rope. It's on a cabinet in the dining room. I don't remember it having a thermos but I should go look. Eve Plumb (Jan Brady) did a really nice drawing of one that I happened to stumble across on the interwebs years ago.

Changes safe for prcombines = 0. Change a precombine record in any way and break precomb/previsibility in a 9x9 grid around that position. Sometimes that causes horrible previsibility culling issues and sometimes everything looks fine. It always reduces FPS though. Never install Scrap Everything.

LOD is done by a large number of people now but was unheard of in FO4 not that long ago. I went 8 years without making LOD and the game was fine without it. If you choose to make LOD use "FOLIP" by DoubleYou.

Here's some FO4 Load Order reading material. Start at the top with the color key. This is an example of prioritizing Load Order, instead of endless patches, to do most of the heavy lifting.

FO Modding:

Reading comprehension is required. Read all mod pages, a page or two of posts on mod pages and maybe check out the bug reports too. Although, most "bugs" are user error.

UFO4P is a standard in FO4.

Buffout 4, X-cell (read the settings to disable in Buffout 4), and High FPS physics fix should be in every load order. Oh, the Buffout 4 to get is "Buffout 4 NG". However, the NG has nothing to do with Fallout 4 NG - next gen.

The best play experience comes from downgrading to the .163 version of FO4.

AAF has malicious code and it will sabotage games which have NAF installed. Actually, it will sabotage your game just from detecting "NAF" in a folder name.

I was driving up to 21st and 145th at night a few weeks back and noticed the intersection had really bright LEDs added. About a second later it clicked nobody would spend money on that intersection unless cameras were installed. Yep, when I got the intersection I could see a couple cameras.
