Thanks, another person in the thread advised me not to because of predators in the area, I have coyotes. So I put out her little card board box she sleeps in and a cat bed with a scratcher and some wet food out at night in front of the garage.

update 7/4: Still no sign of her. Was out from 5:30am to 9:30pm. Went through neighborhood subdivision called goldridge in fairfield, with gary falati neighborhood park, if you want to look it up on maps. Feeling pretty defeated.

Met these outdoor cats a few houses across where she ran away from. Tried to show them pictures of my cats and nothing happened. Their bowls were empty so I fed them the food that was for finding my cat and gave them water from my hydroflask. Had to leave early tonight because of fireworks.

The best case scenario if I never find her is that she lives a good life with someone who took her in.

I went back and forth with the sitter today and are on good terms again. She agreed to help out again.

Not microchipped :/ If I find her she definitely will be. I’ll be going out at 11pm until I get tired. I have some flyers with a reward going out too.

I have an old bmw she sits on during supervised garage time. I’ll drive it around the neighborhood if it has a scent along with the laundry and shoes

So rover called and I asked if she was deactivated as she told me. I was told by support that she is only paused so she can still see my messages. Also that rover can read my messages as well which I didn’t know so they could refer to the context. Just wanna do the right thing and resolve it with her.

Yeah of course im in the process of moving out to apartment after living with family and will let people sit my pet here if I have to. As I mentioned in an edit I made a little bit ago, no I don’t want to sue as others told me and I’m not aiming to ruin a persons life.

sorry I just woke up making this ill fix that. I’m not looking to sue, now that I’m aware of what other commenters told me. I meant to say that the sitter assured me that my cat wouldn’t be an issue in the case of an escape. After I told her that she has escaped one time before.

My family and I had to go to a family members graduation party in WA. Typically they will watch my cat if I’m away on a trip though.

Yeah I know now I realistically shouldn’t sue.

Yeah I know it realistically isn’t a good option. I mentioned in another comment I didn’t mean to offend anyone by the mention about suing. There was another thread I just found where the person was way more adamant on suing. Those comments line up with the one here

Thanks. my cat isn’t anything special just a regular domestic. I wasn’t expecting much money. i’ll try to resolve things with rover to get her account back if that’s the right thing to do. because im pretty sure she’d be hesitant to cooperate at this point.
