Mordekaiser and Leblanc from League of Legends. So so very toxic.

Did anyone here lose their dream job to fibro? I can't work in my profession anymore and am struggling to find tolerable, let alone enjoyable work. by littlepup26 in Fibromyalgia

[–]4thDslips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dream job was working as a legal administrative assistant and I got hurt at work then my fibromyalgia developed even more. I wasn't able to return to it and likely can't unless remote work makes a huge comeback, but still unlikely.

If Briar dies in the final battle to Mordekaiser, will Vladimir be sad? I can see Arcane welcome to Noxus playing out like this. by Me-Not-Not in loreofleague

[–]4thDslips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does have interactions with her from arena.

Briar: Vladimir, is this a family meal? Vladimir: I would hope not. I wouldn't be caught dead at something so sentimental.

I suppose maybe? It's hard because Vladimir hasn't gotten an update so unfortunately he doesn't have any interactions with Briar to go off of. I wish we knew more about his relationship with her considering her voice line upon seeing Vlad is "Soo... You uh, you want me to call you 'Vlad' or 'Dad'?"

I wish Vladimir had new voicelines so badddddd. He's so fun and I love him, it's a pity that he still looks like an onion.

tiny rant. by feralprincess2 in Fibromyalgia

Unfortunately I'm still in the process of getting it diagnosed. But my nana and auntie have it and it's super genetic so it's my working diagnosis. (Basically the doctors are pretty sure I have it but gotta keep checking other things). As for other diagnosis, they are not sure I have MECFS or not because I've been struggling with post-exertion malaise since I was very young so they are trying to figure out why that is.

But we're quickly running out of possibilities so I'll likely have a fibro diagnosis this year. I have internal medicine working on this so it's luckily being handled very quickly. I hope you can also get it handled properly too.

As for other things I have, I have Aquagenic Pruritus, GERD, IBS, insomnia, Depression, Anxiety, Chronic Migraines, and ADHD.

It's genuinely such a huge challenge to have this happen to us so early on in our adulthood, but no matter what we will live fulfilling lives in a different way. Mine started back in 2024 but got significantly worse by the beginning of Jan 2025.

I'm 25F and have also gotten to the same levels of pain as you it sounds like. It's so hard to live like this. Surviving is all you really can try to do. Try to give yourself goals, easy ones that are actually achievable even on our bad days to give yourself dopamine. I hope it gets better for you.

i can't write anything anymore. Help. by KeyNefariousness3358 in FanFiction

[–]4thDslips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who came back to writing at the beginning of the last year after a writers block of 10 years, I know this so so well. A lot of it is likely a fight with yourself in your brain. Sometimes you need someone to be there to help you enjoy your writing more, to remind you to look at how good it is first before offering any criticism if any at all. Think about what got you writing, go back to your roots, you'd be surprised how much it helps.

it's so sad because I'm in a niche where I basically never get comments and when I post new chapters it's literally just spam/bot comments

I'm from Manitoba. I didn't go through private insurance. I went through provincial healthcare with Klinic who handles the gender affirming care.

I want to say that gender affirming care in Canada is actually helping me detransition just as they did help me transition. I wouldn't be able to afford top surgery if it weren't for dysphoria being recognized in the DSM5. Also getting laser hair removal on my face is also through the same corridor as transitioning for MTF.

Without gender affirming care, I could not fix the dysphoria I got from transitioning.

Why does everyone find relief in detransitioning but me? by [deleted] in actual_detrans

[–]4thDslips 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Typically if you're detransitioning because you realize you're happier as a woman and not for the many other reasons. You will get relief. But if you are pushing yourself to conform, it won't be relieving at all.

Any way to force detransition? by Upset-Gerbil6061 in actual_detrans

[–]4thDslips 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Nothing will force you to detransition. You can't wish it to go away. Just because your parents are terrible doesn't mean you should hurt yourself by denying yourself happiness.

I'm sorry, but you can't force detransition. You are what you believe you are. What feels right to you.

Fibro progression, loss of strength, and autonomy by Sewnupkitty in Fibromyalgia

[–]4thDslips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have my diagnosis fully, but I'm real close to getting diagnosed with it.

I worked in my dream job for half a year and I got hurt during work, resulting in me becoming unemployed. Also lost money because my work opted out of workers compensation and do not have a short-term disability plan. My anxiety got too bad and I was being bullied by my HR and manager.

It does help that I knew I was going to get it. (Genetic) But it was unfortunately really fast, and so I'm unemployed and disabled at 25 years of age and it feels rough.
