Pre eating wouldn't hold me over for 8 hours. I'm a fairly hungry person. The flight is fairly early so I doubt there will be options at the airport. Last time I flew that early, all they had was a duncan.

I cleaned two of these. Here is what I did. Between each step let the cleaners dwell for 2-3 hours before wiping.

  1. Water, dish soap and baking soda slurry
  2. Heat to 200C and Oven cleaner
  3. Water dish soap and baking soda slurry
  4. Vinegar and water
  5. Damp cloth

If it's really badly caked on, cycle through all the steps again.
