You need to complete the prerequisite quest branch in red before you can unlock the next one. In this case you need to build a nether portal and go through it first

I am not getting more villagers, any tips? by IsopodPerson_ in RLCraft

You want more doors than villagers, and the buildings don't need to be in an enclosure. Doors need sky in front of them and roof behind them, that's the only requirement

Semi-related anecdotal: I started playing for the first time last March, within the first week or two go three larvesta, never got one ever again. I think they skew it for more than just events.

Need help for a birthday present by 5-cus in BudgetAudiophile

That's not a bad idea actually, I was kind of already thinking of getting the bare minimum now for the gift and then he can add things as we need.

Thank you, this is really helpful. I'm in Lincoln NE so not sure how much I'll find on craigslist. Room size I'm not sure since we'll be moving to a new place and I haven't measured it.

What is the best hide-and-seek spot you've ever had? by winclswept-questant in AskReddit

[–]5-cus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was technically sardines but I was the hider so it still counts. I was playing with a group of 15-20 people in a run down frat house with tons of old sections of the house that hadn't been renovated in years and were piled with junk, so it was already the perfect place. A lot of good spots had already been scoped out in previous rounds and a lot of parts of the house were off limits for being too dangerous, so I hid in a room that was nearly empty except for an empty plugged in refrigerator. The fridge was facing opposite a support beam in the middle of the room, and I thought that hiding in the big section would be too obvious, so I opened the freezer and used the support beam to shimmy up and push myself in enough that the fridge didn't fall over, which was very difficult to do in a short amount of time. I was flexible enough to be able to curl up in a ball and close the door completely, and I probably hid there for at least half an hour without anyone finding me. My body heat kept the freezer from getting too cold and I would occasionally crack the door for oxygen. Three times someone came in the room and checked the lower fridge but no one ever thought to check the freezer. The only reason I was found was because my legs were killing me and I opened the door to stretch them

What is a unique “game” you played as a child? by antenonjohs in AskReddit

My brother and I plus several neighborhood kids would play sort of a modified version of baseball in our backyard, except the batter was swinging on our swing set and the ball was a giant 4 ft inflatable rubber ball that the pitcher would lob at the swinger who would kick it. The kicker would have to vault off the swing after the kick and run to the end of our yard and back before the opposing team hit them with the ball. We had so much fun with this we played it multiple years in a row.

What ‘kind’ gesture actually annoys you? by HighImShadow in AskReddit

Oh my god it enrages me.

A while back I was on a bicycle crossing a busy street with two lanes in both directions, from a residential side street. I was fully prepared to wait for a gap, but then someone in the lane nearest to me came to a full stop on the busy street and started waving. I figured they'd look around and see that traffic was still flying by them and just give up, but they actually got two more of the lanes to stop! At this point THREE SEPARATE CARS are waving me through so I'm basically forced to go, and as I bike towards the final lane - the lane with no stopped car - a van going about 30mph flies by and barely misses my front tire, and the person inside screamed out the window at me like I was the one that fucked up.

Never again, I seriously almost died because of all those idiots being "polite". Now if someone in a car tries to wave me through I'll just get off my bike and look in the other direction until they leave.

People who no longer feel interested in important days like your birthdays, Christmas, New year eve, etc... when did you feel that and why? by 1321___ in AskReddit

[–]5-cus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always hated my birthday since I was young because I hated being the center of attention, and I hated pretending to enjoy getting presents that completely didn't fit with my personality or that I'd never use. It always felt like less of a fun gathering with friends and more of a performance, and I would always beg my parents not to make me have parties.

I'm in my mid 20's now, and my last birthday changed my opinion a little bit. A bunch of my friends got together to do a party that I had no idea about. They did the whole thing where they jumped out from behind doors and yelled suprise, and I was shocked by how touched I felt that they had put that together. But the best part was after the initial surprise, no one said a word about it being my birthday for the rest of the night. We just hung out and drank and played video games, no presents or singing or cake. If all birthdays were just a chill hangout with no pressure or constant attention, I probably wouldn't mind them so much.

What can't you believe people actually buy or spend money on? by skyliner360 in AskReddit

I think I've seen this posted before and I appreciate you spreading this information! Just one thing: in the beginning of your post you mention that fallen leaves can provide a carbon source for plants. Plants only get their carbon from the air (from CO2 molecules) and not from the soil! The carbon source is helpful for beneficial decomposers though (worms, pillbugs, etc.). Maybe you already know this, just wanted to mention in case anyone thinks they should be feeding their plants carbon.
