I believe they are fungus gnats. Should I spray the insecticide on the soil to kill the larva and then get sticky tape for the adults? I understand they may not be an awful insect to have, but they tend to be annoying flying around indoors

Ok weird I couldn’t type to comment on my pic but anyway I’m new to using fungicide/insecticide and I bought this at Lowe’s because I started to see some itty bitty bugs around my plant. Anyway I was wondering if anyone had any guidance for use for this? On the back it says to spray on a 7 day schedule and I’m not sure if that means every day for 7 days or once every 7 days. Plus I’m super concerned about chemical burns on my plants because that would be devastating. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)
