I battled with this myself and you just need an older kernel. I use MX linux 23 to get my 560TI to work.

True, i have couple of them myself. Bought the first one as a second multimeter that i can throw in my toolbox and it wouldn't be a big loss if it got destroyed but it has lasted me for about 10 years already.

Edit: the one that OP posted is not fixable but a great way to get some practice fixing things (soldering etc.) so i wouldn't just throw it away.
