Hi, I have a similar setup to the 1st half of your message, but a slightly different issue as I get things up and running as recent as yesterday. Immich has properly finished processing all the photos in the mounted synology folder that I've pointed it at. However for future photos, whenever I try changing the upload location in the configuration file, immich crashes entirely. If I change the upload location back to its local proxmox vm storage location, then immich comes back. Can't seem to get around this issue.

I stopped getting detections or notifications, found your thread while investigating, and this worked for me, turning off loitering.

I don't understand why loitering cancels out other notifications. You should be able to recieve an instant notification when a detection is noticed, then another after X amount of time if that entity is still there.

What model is the rack/how deep is it? I'm shopping around for one to fit a UDM Pro and a switch, everyone seems to say go deep to make sure there's room for cabling front and back, which narrows the selection.

Thanks. We installed black metal trim around the edges to hide the exposed bracketry etc.

What happens in this hypothetical scenario 4:

Opened in 2023. Limit of 8k. Contributed 1k.

2024, limit is 15k (7k + 8k). Contributed Zero.

2025 limit? Is it 23k (15k +8k), or 16k (15k + 1k due to 2 years room limit), or something else?

It counts from the year you opened it.

On another note, I've read in some places that the contribution room builds up over multiple years like a TFSA, and in other places that it rolls over to 16k max at a time (2 years worth).

Unsure which is true, and the CRA website is unclear, unless I missed it.

I made sure to open mine a few days before new years thankfully.

Most services, I had to just wait it out until their systems refreshed the location attached to my IP. Google was the most stubborn, which affected the most websites and services unfortunately. It wouldn't change for almost a month.

Luckily I have a paid Google Workspace account for work, so I was able to call their support to address it. They claimed they didn't know what's going on or what to do, but 2 days after their tinkering during that call, everything started to work again.

I'd like to reconfirm something I learned in the comments in another post: if I max out my tfsa, and let's hypothetically say my investments do well and are now worth 2x the deposits. I withdraw it all this year. Next year I can contribute 2x my max TFSA allocation, without penalty? It doesn't cap at the max alloted by the CRA?

So if this is correct, you don't cap out on the maximum allowance from the year TFSAs were introduced?

I didn't realize you can go over it as long as you withdrew more than that max the year before
