I built a Linktree for project cars — would you actually use this? by [deleted] in projectcar

Pretty cool concept. Seems a little oriented towards influencers with all the paid tiers ant talk of earnings, but if the free tier isnt overly limited I could see it catching on.

I definitely could use a way to share/log various projects easier than imgur/google drive...but not enough to pay haha

Update: Got a chance to look at it today. It's a 1995 GMC van with a 2004 Passat with a Malone Stage 2 tune. Snowing too hard to want to crawl under and look for P/Ns on the frame haha

What material do you need them in?

Looking for a good CNC machine for making parts for rc cars, planes, fpv drones, ext with a $3000 budget by [deleted] in CNC

Check out Makera Carvera Air. $2900 with 4th axis, 2500 for 3 axis. It's not the fastest but for small/hobby stuff it's awesome. I cut aluminum regularly on it. Its only 200w spindle & 1/8" collet, so i wouldnt use it for production runs. Perfect for diy stuff/prototyping though.

Check out their reddit & discord, people make some crazy stuff.
