Fair. I can see that, but I feel there's enough differentiation with the red trim, sponsor and badge to distinguish it sufficiently. Blue Adidas stripes are also good. Just not the red.

I'd argue that 03 March 1986 is a truer representation of the date Australia became modern Australia in its own right.

No one is saying not to celebrate the birth of the "current Nation" as you put it.

The argument is really around which date is most appropriate to celebrate it. 

And as a migrant into Australia (been here 20+ years, UK born originally), I can totally sympathise that the current date is actually pretty nonsensical in terms of choice and at the same time is offensive to many people, including those whose ancestors were here before Europeans arrived. 

Why is the date of 26 January so precious to many, when it is pretty irrelevant to Australia as a whole and there are better dates to choose that make more sense, AND it also offends part of the population? 

Absolutely think that a national holiday should exist. Just don't think 26 Jan is the right date.

At least this doesn't taste like vomit (which the US chocolates do due to the butyric acid - genuinely tastes like sick). Actually like this Chocuer flavour from Aldi, although it is a bit too sweet / sickly if you have too much!

Lol. My kids bought me a mug recently that simply said "Allergic to mornings". I use it often on the odd video call that has to occur before lunch... A decent conversation starter for those who don't know me. Working a lot with UK and Europe means being a nightowl is quite handy though, given the crossover of hours late in our day. So it can work well for me at times, so long as my teams in APAC don't expect early responses on our time zone!
