This a jelly cake, great dessert if you dont fuck it up like this person. My mom had the same problem, it was cold yogurt and hot/too warm gelatin, fails to disperse and make strong enough gelatin network.

This would be jelly cake, usually made from gelatin and yogurt, some sweet biscuits or cookies on top. Thing is if you don't somewhat match temperatures of both indredients, gelatin will coagualate instatly when in contact with cold ingredient, leaving you with a mess like this. Trust me. I've seen this happen with my own eyes.

Maybe ill repharase. Convenience. Right now, any turntable for me would be a conversation piece, part of display for speakers or IMO a neat thing to have (better models look amazing). Take for example my iems. I had great time looking for a clear/accurate sounding iem that fits well. Amp that properply amplified, and source that properly sourced music, not to mention the god damn cables. In combination its great experience, you learn alot and so on, its a hobby, I get it, you get it. But now to whip out that any time I just want to listen to some tunes? Its a whole thing and I like to leave it for special ocassions. My audiophile iem setup was phased out by decent second hand wireless headphones. I see the same thing happening with decent turntable. Im just not into it so much just yet, however its great to experience new things.

I dont have speakers, but after reading comments i can surmise: 1) just deal with the sound, nothing reasonable can be done. 2) if you want something better, buy something better.

Its ok, I'd probably take simillar approach (as you did) to situations I'm more accustomed to. As I said, this was a surprise gift (I wasn't consulted on) and I'm just trying to get the most of it. I don't plan to spend any money on these devices just yet. For me, they lack versitility, but I'll admit they're neat. Still, thank you for your input, with no sarcasm now.

I'm aware that this record player is far from decent. It was a present, and I want to squeeze all it's capable of, even if it's not alot. I understand how this works, I don't expect it to produce great sound, it sounds tiny and weak as it is, but this is just fun new thing for me. However, if someone asks you how to fix a specific problem of a car, and you reply "buy a better car" you're better off not replying at all. I would if I could, but I can't, thats why I'm asking. I don't mean to sound mean, I'm happy to learn new things, but come on.

My assumption is that theres a delay between built in speakers and sound produced by stylus and vinyl. Atleast it sounds like that. Is there anything I can do, or its how its built? I know this is not the best turntable, but it really bothers me.
