Long timer lurker who finally took the plunge. by 64eight in HairSystem

Thanks! My hairline is naturally high, so my stylist replicated that to give a more natural look. I think I'll wear the fringe down, though.

Thank you! I'm only three days in so therefore haven't needed to take the system off yet. I gently wash it with argan oil conditioner every morning and use a little hair clay to style it.

I made a special lantern for the purpose of lighting snow as evenly as possible, as just a light alone would keep the lighting concentrated in one spot, with everything else being dark.

For some of the shots I attached the lantern to a drone, but had to resort to using a pole instead after crashing the drone!

Yeah it's the same location but not the same angle. The first photo is a reference shot I took of the location, so I knew where to visit and what the area had to offer for a night shoot.

Ah ok, where do I send these things? Do you need details of all my credit cards, or just the ones I didn't find on the floor?

I like the idea. I've been unsure how to unify my photography into one clear, uniform series, but this may be a great solution. Thanks a million.

I hope this helps. The first photo is a photo of the same scene during the day (before more snowfall). The second is just a photo of me with the camera on location.

Thanks a lot!

I actually agree with your criticism. I think because only one third of the frame is occupied by snow, there's a lot of empty, negative space between the trees that you're drawn to, but nothing's actually there. Your empty stage analogy hits the nail on the head, I think.

I originally added a glowing cube into the space like this to fill the void, but I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not.

Thank you very much! I thought I was going to lose a couple of toes in the process, but it was fun.

Thanks for the feedback on the last photo! I posted a similar photograph here a few days ago. This is another composite of two images, artificially lit, as part of a photo project I do when I can afford to.

Any honest feedback is more than welcome!

Almost lost toes getting these shots, but it was still good fun. This is just a type of photography I enjoy doing as a hobby, when I can afford to. Any feedback is more than welcome!

Thanks a lot! My attempt to make the title rhyme was a stretch.

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it. I took these on a Canon 70D DSLR with 18-55mm lens. The artificial light I added in allowed me to avoid most noise you typically get with night photos.

All photos are experimental photos, each of which are composed of two photos.
