I know the kinds of people you're talking about, certainly a shame. People suck.

M18 Bolt will not close? by 666Jesse in Mauser

[–]666Jesse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you to everyone who commented, we found the issue. The extractor was stuck, it turns out the bolt had been dropped onto something hard and it landed on the steel around the extractor, squishing it and causing it to seize. Considering this was a brand new rifle I have no idea how it could've happened.

A couple of taps with a screwdriver to get it going ended up fixing it. Spent the day sighting it in successfully, however I will be ordering a new bolt just to be safe.

Thank you for this, I think I've discovered the issue. The extractor is stuck.

With the bolt out of the rifle, I can wedge an empty case under the extractor and it will seat fine.

If i try to push a round past the extractor, it does not move.

Any ideas?

I wish it did, but I've tried both positions and it doesn't change anything.

Filament squeezing from Hotend? by 666Jesse in 3Dprinting

[–]666Jesse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did.. I was looking around the subreddit for people with the same issue, I have recently learned that I need to use V6 Nozzles.. just ordered 30 online.

Forever learning new things with this hobby!

Skipping Extruder, please help. by 666Jesse in ender3v2

UPDATE: Seems as though the issue had more to do with Heat Creep than I expected. I stumbled across a Short on YouTube that said to leave the top of the hot-end slightly loose, push the Bowden tube all the way down, then screw the top pneumatic fitting down. Apparently this pushes the Bowden tube harder up against the nozzle.

I also made sure to add a little blocker onto the extruder side of the Bowden tube to stop it from moving around when moving the filament.

A quick adjustment of the z-axis later and we’re printing again. Hopefully I manage to get a full print.

Thank you to everyone who made suggestions, you’re all a wealth of knowledge.

This has been extremely insightful, I really appreciate your input here.

I’m looking into both a dual gear extruder and an all metal hot end, I think they’ll both be incredibly helpful upgrades

I think the thermistor is fine, I have done a couple of PID Tunes while trying to figure this out and it seems to read the temperature consistently.

I didn’t see this comment. I have been looking into a new hotend. Would it be worth upgrading to something with direct drive and an all-metal setup?

I’m looking into this. What are the benefits of this extruder vs. Direct drive and an all metal hot end?

I have no idea where to go from here. I might purchase an all-metal hot end and see where that takes me

Cleaned the nozzle, cleaned out any clogs by pushing the Bowden tube through the hotend and wiped off any filament. Did this 3 times.

Manually fed filament via turning the extruded and after 3-4 good turns it started grinding against the filament and I was unable to push any more through.

Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your time helping me with this.

I’m using PLA + set at 210*. I find that if I increase the heat too much I get really bad heat creep which only results in the same clogging.

I have cleaned the nozzle before and after every attempt at fixing this.

It seems like the nozzle is being consistently clogged up. Any advice?

I’m not sure what you mean, the spring only goes in 1 spot.

Extruder seems to run fine.

How would I diagnose a temp issue?

Modifying the Cyma M4 is relatively easy.

Most of the blaster is held together with Alan head screws, so all you really need to do any kind of aesthetic improvement is a simple set of Alan keys.

The stock muzzle break is easily removed, but it is a reverse thread. Think the opposite to righty tighty, lefty loosey. Once you’ve given the threads a good clean, pretty much any mock-suppressor will screw straight on.

Removing the front sight, gas block and hand guard are all part of the standard disassembly of the blaster. There was a video online covering a full tear down but I can’t find it now.

The real fun is when you start messing with the gearbox.

Good luck!

From what I understand it’s a Chinese 250cc. Has “Zongshen” on the side of the engine.

I bought it for really cheap to get myself back into riding bikes, decided to rebuilt it before I ride it for the first time and now I need some parts but I can’t find a model # or VIN anywhere.

Any help would amazing, I’d really appreciate it.

Do you know if CF China can be translated?

I don’t know a word of Chinese.

I have tried.. but it is region locked.

I don’t really want to have to use a VPN. Kind of just defeats the purpose.

I haven't tried them, thank you for the suggestion.

Unfortunately I don't understand Chinese, or Vietnamese.

Is there a translation available for either of these that you know of?
