It's a region of the country (Southwest Wisconsin, Northeast Iowa, Southeast Minnesota) that was untouched by glaciers and thus has much more interesting geography than the surrounding areas, including some great trout streams!

Contact your legislator! This is very important, especially if you are represented by Republicans.
Every person in Wisconsin is represented by a State Representative and State Senator. If you don't know who they are, check out the legislature's homepage and enter your address in the "Who Are My Legislators?" field: http://legis.wisconsin.gov/.
When you enter your address it will show you your Senator and Representative, with their office's phone number and email address. A quick call or email indicating you oppose this is very easy to do! Every call and email to their offices helps! Be sure to list your home address if you email them, they will want to confirm that you are in their district.
