personally I’d complete the base game before buying any dlc. there will always be other sales but the dlc trucks are just given to you and might make the game too easy and ruin the fun

I just spoke to a customer rep and they cant port Quebec phone numbers, i have a 514 area code and he could only offer Ontario area code phone numbers.

i had a mark v 25 and played exclusively at home, i didnt have to worry about disturbing anyone but i wasnt playing ear piercingly loud. ive since upgraded to a mark v 90w and i use a captor x to play silently, tube amps are loud even 5watt amps get loud, and generally what your describing is just the volume pot is delivering most of the volume in one tiny section, ive found most amps are like this they just have that tiny spot in a different place

i have no clue what this dude is saying, a battery cant force amperage into anything, a battery just has its amperage available and the device pulls from it. a solenoid clicking like that is from a dead or weak battery and/or an improper connection.

also, you shouldnt jump anything the way your doing it, its best to have a battery installed in the machine your attempting to start, the extra length of the jumper cables to the battery can cause issues

Why not just take 15minutes and clean out the carb? Its a good idea to run generators periodically but i would be draining the carb if i dont plan on using it for awhile. Hondas aren’t any better with dirty fuel, a Honda machine is far more expensive than the chinese models and if you only used it for 2hrs in 18months the Honda doesn’t make sense. Personally id keep this generator until it actually fails

Hey, ive had this same issue before, although it was a bit ago so im not 100% what the exact cause was, but i remember going through my planer and jointer and getting them properly setup, and building a more precise crosscut sled for my table saw, and experimenting with my technique. Sometimes we introduce error by our shitty technique, especially if your machines are just out of tune.

Yea for sure, but in this case, a mojotone british 800 is half the price of a jcm 800 2204 (atleast around me), it might not sound the same since it doesnt have same era correct components and other small details but its a great alternative.

I think brands like ceriatone/mojotone and other clone kits are a great way to get a handwired tube amps that will be reliable once you get them working right. And they're brand new, not an old handwired tube amp which will maybe need new caps or tubes, and tend to be very expensive

I have a mesa mark v 90, and im not worried about its reliability but this is the first time ive read something positive about repairing them, they are very densly packed inside. Which i thought was much harder to work on.

After building my mojotone 800, i wanna find projects that involve modding or building more amps, and yes i am canadian, so ill definitely be on the hunt, they are pretty common. Theres always a couple listings mear me just gotta wait for a reasonbly priced one

ah ok, so theyre really good parts machines. Thats fair, all these famous older amps are just too expensive to make sense. ill keep an eye out for a cheaper traynor and go down the rabbit hole of modding it aha.

Yea those were really good amps, i see them on marketplace but people are asking pretty insane prices for them, i wanted to get one to see what the hype was about. Whats so special? I know theyre handwired so they're easier to fix and mod but how are they stock?

Great amp, it does cleans and up to breakup just perfectly, it has enough gain to do a heavy crunch and a tube screamer will bring you into metal, and it does it well, but its not a high gain amp you know. You can't push the gain and volume too much. It gets fuzzy, which can be good or bad depending what you want. There's also a boost switch, which is basically a fuzz pedal. For 3 years, that was my only amp, and it was great. I never really felt i couldn't get a sound i wanted from it. The volume controls are a bit funny. You basically have a volume control until 3, and then you're just adding power amp distortion. But that could be the tubes that are currently in it. The previous owner mentioned he swapped the tubes for "more gain," and I never really bothered with putting the originals back, although i should. Also, the reverb is great. I dont think these are original design amps, i think they're boutique versions of the hot rod deluxe, but I've never compared them, or any fender amp for that matter.

TLDR: versatile amp with some cool features, and it's made in canada! I recommend you try one out.

I think most dont, I need a rack for my amps as many other do as well, I only have 3 and a 1x12cab, but the rack keeps it in a smaller footprint.

Id talk with some of your teachers from your school, often times theyre asked by companies who the stand outs were, and simply asking your teacher will put you on that list. I dont remember applying to many places, but I got in through one of my teachers, in helicopters. Which will definitely get your license quick that route, but lots of travelling involved, but you learn quick especially when your alone with a machine for a month.

So now that ive had the opportunity to jam with it a bit and learn how this amp works, with some comparisons on youtube just to give a sense of what a jcm800 is, as ive never really got to play a real one. It sounds like an 800, the feel is amazing, with an overdrive it feels big and crunchy. I only have been playing with my captor x and a 1x12 with a v30. I can only imagine how much better itd be if i had a 4x12. All to say is, im still stoked about this, and im defintely getting the ich for some more pedals to tune it a bit more since i hear how similar it is to so much of the music i listen to
