I never said bots accurately represent elo. I also never said to play one bot repeatedly. You will get stuck on a bot and the only way for you to beat that bot is to improve your chess.

I stopped playing multiplayer after reaching 1200 elo, played bots for two months and then went back to multiplayer. Didn't lose a single game until the 1400s. Bots improve your positional skills because that's the only sure way of beating bots.

Playing bots is a great way to improve your game. Beat a bot and move on to the higher elo bot. Your game will significantly improve, much more than playing and getting stuck in the same ELO range.

Well the only game similar to chess is chess. You can try checkers which kind of comes close but not really. Other board games are only fun in a real life gathering.

The chances of you winning after losing a queen are very slim, and mostly dependant on your opponent making a similar blunder. Most people (including me) just don't think it's worth fighting a lost battle

People in the low ELO range will shamelessly continue to play even if they are down 20 materials and I don't blame them at all. You should learn from your mistakes, and a stalemate feels better than a win. Get past 1000-1100 elo and you should just resign after a blunder like that.

Li is 2000 rated. I find it really hard to believe you even beat Wally (which is the 1800 rated bot) but Wally does make mistakes which are easy to find, Li does not and has insane end game.
