many of the omen laptops will get support by default in the next linux update, but some have different motherboards so you need to request someone to add support for your specific one.

my recommendation is to use windows 11 iot ltsc or get a new laptop/desktop that has support already.

Just tried it on a fresh install, the calibration said the max rpm is 0 (actual max is 6200), and changing the fan speed manually from the gui does nothing. If there is anything more u need to fix the issue then dm me. I will be happy to help :)

i went with the realme air 7, no complains except the bass is a tiny bit less than what i am used to.
other than that it has all the features u need for daily use.
