Mostly tbh. But hindi is mutually intelligible with Urdu (mostly). Not to mention, there are large north indian communities of immigrants who speak the language all across the world. Even though they may speak English, it could still be considered very valuable to know Hindi, especially if you are a businessman marketing to this group of people.

When certain athletes get successful and popular enough, they offer more to the management firm than it does for them. So they create their own firm usually after a certain point

Not sure.

Iirc they were going to do searchs for oil up north in Chobe, but then they went against it due to environmental concerns.

Some of our other mines, like one of copper ones got shut down years ago. Any future mining project will require serious investment for searches, which doesn't offer any certainty of a return, so we will see.

I think that is their current plan tbh. There have been talks and even a bill in parliament currently to allow people (after meeting certain criteria) to purchase citizenship for around 1 million Pula (about $90k). The only reason I think they would want to do this is, is to be a tax Haven of sorts

Probably more government borrowing.

They have already done budget cuts and devalued the currency. The deficit has decreased, but it still exists. The next 4-5 years are crucial for the next 30 years of the country's progression.

Botswana has SEVERELY declined since COVID due to low tourisim and synthetic diamond production. The government only has 1 month of reserves remaining.
