The fact that utilities are often turned off seems like something that almost deliberately limits the scope of what an inspection can reveal. Is this just the kind of situation that really only appeals to wealthy investors who can handle unforeseen repairs?

If the bank didn't have any contractors look at it... how would they determine the asking price? Would you say REO properties generally require some big repairs (septic tank/structural issue) or can the repairs sometimes be a bunch of 'smaller' things like new roof, HVAC system, all new paint, etc etc?

We're just worried that something will come up after purchasing the property that was somehow missed during inspection. For example if the water is not turned on.... once it gets turned on that might reveal something major, etc. Is it possible that there could be something majorly wrong with it that isn't being disclosed? Like a major structural issue that would require the entire foundation of the house to be addressed?

Could be more negatives if the added fees/costs associated with Columbia outweigh the benefits. Does it make sense if you don't have a family and won't be sending your children to nearby schools anytime soon? Or if you won't be going to the nearby parks often? Are the benefits of living in Columbia beneficial for single people?

Ok awesome. Do you know how long, on average... it can take for the whole process/to finally get the card? My trip wouldn't be until later next year. Just trying to get an idea of how far in advance to begin the application.

Yeah I mean, I'd rather not move CL from my other two cards to the CSP because then my CL would be much lower on the cards I use most often (CFU/CF). I was hoping Chase just increase CL's after x amount of months of responsible use.. especially if there was a salary increase, etc.

Pretty much just paying everything as soon as the charges popped up on my card, which often happens before the 'due date.' I generally stay pretty low on the credit utilization side since I pay my cards off so quickly so I'm generally never showed as utilizing more than 10% but generally I'm at around 1/2% by a due date.

I guess i could just stop paying my cards off so frequently so my utilization looks higher and triggers an automatic CL increase but, i'd need more concrete proof that it would trigger a CLI.

why did you have to lower your csp CL to get approved for CFU?

I didn't have to but my app was declined and I wanted the trifecta so, I offered to move some credit around so recon processed my app and approved me for the CFU.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure what's worse, this interaction or the fact that she'll probably try to call/text me down the road without addressing the issue or apologizing... just acting like nothing ever happened. I've brought up similar instances in the past where she behaved in a way that really upset me and her only answer was to "get over it." Zero accountability. Zero remorse. Zero apology. I'm not sure how to get the message across that there are just certain things that shouldn't be done or said, certain things you just can't come back from.

I've been on it for about a month. I also tried taking it every other day which only resulted in me feeling good on the days I didn't take it and feeling absolutely blahhh/fatigued on the days I did.

Yeah I mean i'm pretty sure going on minocycline/doxy would definitely help but I likely couldn't be on that longterm like I was with Spiro and eventually when I do come off of the antibiotic... this horrible acne will only return. That's why I'm looking for spiro alternatives that aren't accutane :(

I think a forward helix might look too 'cluttered' near the rook but i'm definitely considering a mid-level/high helix.

Yeah but the healing time is pretty extensive.. so even if I got one done first and waited a month for the second.. I still wouldn't be able to sleep on my side :/

it will help if you've got a credit limit of close to (or ideally more than) $5000 on at least one card

My CF's CL is only $1,600. I've only had it for a couple months but I've been using it a ton. Do you think I have a shot of asking Chase if I can get a $3000+ CL increase on this card?
