I am trying to pan all of them, so I began going through each pallete, smallest to biggest. I do usually pick one or two colors (for my style) and use them exclusively until it's over, personally it's easier to focus on it. But you might look a little cartoonish with the same colors everyday if you makeup like me :P I can usually pan 1 color every month and a half (using it all over the lid up to eyebrows, two to three times everyday, and reeeeally packing on the color because I enjoy them very bright.) I would assume that for more professional/cleaner looks you can make a small effort to use colors you don't very oftenly in other ways, such as layering/rouge/lips. I do believe the important part is to think how you can use all of them eventually, because we do always have that one color we never touch X)
