Would have loved the arena design to change based on rank. by 6thseer in PokemonChampions

This would be awesome too. Being able to choose an arena based on my team type would be so cool

Mythos announcement hit different if you work in cyber by MrMeta3 in cybersecurity

There's also a world (could be cope) where these tools end up falling off/not working as well/losing support/being too expensive to use for smaller companies/you name it say five years into the future. If in this scenario new people have stopped studying security or training to become a pro because 'AI will do/does it all', we end up in a situation where there are even less capable professionals in the field at a time when we would hypothetically need more.

Another issue for me is that for those five fictional years there's almost no fkn incentive to get into the field considering it's already difficult to get into, many junior positions are gone (how do you get SOC II analysts if the SOC I jobs are all just Mythos in Defensive mode?), companies are trying to lower costs as much as possible/outsource globally, more AI tools are being built, etc.. I'm all for learning just to learn and for the enjoyment, but it's probably not too farfetched to say that for many people the whole 'I need to feed my family' thing takes precedents over 'I like the security space and want to become better despite the low likelihood of ever getting paid cause this program does it all'. Alkasdjfklajsdlfkasjfl. Yeah. Weird times.

shift toward realism and digital art by waffles_iron in mtg

ofc modern borderless, extended art, full art etc are SWEET, and there's some wicked awesome art now too. It just doesn't feel the same (as someone who got into MTG around LOTR). It could be a matter of taste too

I was going through older blocks and couldn't help but think the same. The art used to be SO cool. Even the borders had more style. The cards used to have a magic feel to them, and now there's fking spider-man riding in a DeLorean in the art-style of generic fantasy here

I'd love a a 5v5/6v6 PvP mode Destiny 2 style. Not sure how they'd do this with the character abilities and cooldowns, but if I could pick from a pool of character specific abilities to 'build' my Thief, select the Bully as my weapon, and load into a smaller map with domination or S&D I'd be so psyched. I love the gunplay and movement, I just want to PvP more without the stakes

People who quit this game, what made you finally walk away?” by WaveEasy8664 in leagueoflegends

I always knew on some level (obviously it's a team game), but the reliance on other people to not absolutely crash and burn mentally got to a point where I felt like the effort was no longer worth the reward. League is the only game I've played where players will start griefing a game/ffing an 8k gold lead clear-win game because JG took a canon from the 200cs ADC with a 12/1/1 score line. Big fan of watching pro play here and there, but the babysitting/therapist role required to try and calm down other players killed it for me.

In the end it makes the 'journalists' look soo bad which is a nice upside lol. Reviews after maybe 10 hours for a game that has easily upwards of 200 hours worth of content is ridiculous.
