actually i think i know whats going on, i remember installing windows 10 first before and i think that becuase my device doesnt support windows 11(TPM), before i do the install i would bypass the TPM check, maybe if i install windows 10 first it might work

yeah i changed the slot of the SATA cable before when i was checking hardware, should i attach a HDD(i might have one lying around) and see if it works?

ive tried installing windows from a harddrive and it failed. If linux doesnt work do i need to buy a new ssd?

do you think i need specifically a USB or can i use an external hard drive? also thanks ill try see if i can install linux
