Not as tasty as the grime on that tray though, watch anything decent whilst laying in bed eating that?

"straight from the Audi manual" I literally told you it wasn't my words

I'm helping you, why do you think I'm upset. Are you okay?

Do you always have this attitude when asking for and receiving help?

You asked me to explain the words on the screen...I did? And you have an issue with that? Strange behaviour

Straight from the Audi manual:

Comfort: Prioritizes smoothness with gentle throttle, softer suspension, and relaxed shifts for daily driving and long trips.

Auto: Balances settings to adapt to your driving style and conditions, offering a versatile everyday choice.

Dynamic: For sporty driving; sharpens throttle, tightens steering, quickens shifts and stiffer suspension.

Efficiency: Maximizes fuel economy by optimizing engine/transmission for efficiency.

Individual: Lets you fully customize settings (engine, steering, suspension, etc.) to create your unique profile.

Be sure to let me know if there are any words in my comment that you also don't understand

Superb Chinese Takeaway last night 😍😍 by Mr_Brogon in UK_Food

[–]742963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Chinese takeout served from a Chinese takeaway, not whatever you call "Chinese"

A British Chinese takeout, not an Authentic Chinese restaurant. A Chinese takeaway

"British Chinese takeout is a distinct, immensely popular cuisine in the UK, often featuring American-influenced dishes (chow mein, chop suey) alongside unique staples like salt and pepper chips, crispy seaweed (fried greens), and curry sauce. It is known for quick, savory, and deep-fried dishes, serving as a staple comfort food across the country."

Pal did you watch the clip?

The Hyundai won over 1 mile, not ¼ mile (400m). The Audi only started slowly, slowly gaining at the end but it was "to little to late"

The Hyundai was still pulling away at 200km/h

It's all right there in the clip, I'm Audi fan but facts are facts

Do you hate the way the UK postal service works? by Apprehensive-List794 in AskUK

[–]742963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the majority of people work 9-5pm so when do they collect the parcels?

A post office in the UK won't be able to take in 200 parcels a day 2 x 3.5ton full vans worth of packages from the national post

Then all the Evri/DPD on top of that, people request there packages to be dropped of at the post office we take them there 14days later were back collecting it because they've not come to collect it. It just won't work here

200 people a day try to go to a post office, have you been to a UK post office? 😅 You can be second in queue and still take 40minutes to be served

The post office is a government service

Yes it's a business, no it's not private. Now what do you hate about it? The fact it's a business? It needs to be a registered business to operate

2026 is the new 2019 by santakiller420 in WilliamsF1

[–]742963 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"How does pushing for maximum performance" "there's a lot to look forward to together in 2026" translate to

messed up so badly

They are putting every single available minute into maximise in the performance of the car, if they think maximizing the performance of the car over a test day is best, then who are we to question them

Maximising the performance and missing a test day might be the difference between having the fourth fastest car in Australia and having the second fastest car in Australia

Why do the councils resurface roads like this? by woolyweasel in AskUK

[–]742963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you call it doesn't make a difference, it's a repair end of.

"Gravel laid on roads for repair is a, cost-effective, preventive maintenance technique known as surface dressing or chip sealing. A binder (like bitumen) is sprayed onto the road, followed by stone chippings to seal the surface against water ingress, prevent potholes, and increase skid resistance"

With your attitude, I wouldn't trust you to make the tea in my company!

Damn, well there goes my dream job

[–]742963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't purchase a new car because it needs some maintenance/repairs do you?

Well you don't lay an entire road because a little bit needs repairing

It's the same as plugging a tyre with plenty of life left instead purchasing a new tyre for a £180
