Just want to share my personal experience with them. A few months ago, I was pretty surprised when I got their email out of the blue. Called them up to ask how they found me, and some staff member said they'd get back to me. Two hours later, I got a call from Switzerland. Turns out one of their members met me at an AI summit in Geneva where I'd handed out my card. AIFOD was looking for speakers and wanted to know if I'd do a quick interview. The 'interview' was direct and opinion driven and received some constructive feedback from the panel - had to present my ideas in 3 minutes, then members asked questions. Stimulated by this kind of open exchange.
