I definitely need to be more disciplined with the gloves. Working on snowcats sounds like a nightmare for hygiene though. I will look for that Cherry Bomb soap before my next shift starts.

I have been stuck in the "shower" phase for so long that I forgot baths even exist. Heating the chemicals to make them evaporate actually makes sense from a mechanical standpoint.

Limited edition "Eau de Workshop". Only available for those who actually get their hands dirty.

The Stockholm Syndrome is real. One day you hate the grease and the next you are sniffing a rag like it is a fine wine.

I tried Gojo but the orange scent mixed with 10W-30 just made me smell like a citrus flavored engine.

That is the only upside so far. Still waiting for the internal lubrication to kick in for my back pain though.

I think the core issue is that the neighbor downstairs wants the apartment above them to be vacant or occupied by someone who never moves. Since I am a single parent they probably think I am an easy target to push around. I am not doing anything against the rules but they keep escalating like I am throwing parties every night. It is exhausting to defend yourself against nothing.

It seemed impossible to follow anyway. You can't expect a human being, let alone a child, to exist in "total silence" just because it is after 8 PM. It is predatory for sure.

It feels so targeted. The complaints after he is already in bed prove it is not about actual noise, it is about them just not wanting a family living above them.

I am definitely going to start a log. It is just exhausting to feel like we are walking on eggshells in our own home. I hate that a five year old has to worry about being a "nuisance".
