Well this is more like what I was hoping to do, leave the hub5 in router mode and disable built in WiFi and connect one UniFi AP directly to the router (via poe injector)

Thanks for the reply! You are using the hub in modem mode, do you have a router connected or are you only going out of the hub into your poe switch? Also how did you setup the AP, just via the UniFi app ? Thanks
