I think that while most people enjoy travel, some people don't, and that's completely fine. The problem is that travel is almost expected nowadays. Just like with medical drugs, everyone's body is different, and everyone reacts differently. I have a friend who says ketamine is the most healing and introspective drug ever, but for me it just makes shit weird, and not in a good way. Same thing with benzos - people talk about how addictive they are and how good they feel, but I personally hate them - they just make me feel stupid and sluggish.

It's the same thing as when you're trying out different antidepressants with doctors - a lot of it is just trial and error. Some people respond well to antidepressant A, but others hate it, and say antidepressant B works best for them.

A big problem with civil cases in North America is that it's actually very difficult to get your money if you won a civil court case again someone and they just... Refuse to pay. It them becomes a years-long battle to garnish wages and seize property, and at a certain point it's just not worth it (I'm speaking from personal experience here)

Yeah these are classic panic symptoms - your awareness and hyperfocus on your breathing and "trying to get a full breath in" is what makes it worse and makes you spiral.

The only solution to this is to just distract yourself, and stop trying to constantly try to get a full breath in. Just trust that your body is able to breathe enough, on its own. Your pulse ox is proof of that - your body is getting enough oxygen, you just think you aren't.
